Mr V was a favorite teacher to our children in Rockford.  Since retiring, he continues to create his fun, upbeat art and is a favorite each year at Art Prize.  He is also the author of the Square Pears books which appeal to both kids and adults.

Wonder no more!  These questions and many others will be addressed by Jeff as he discusses the role of the Rotary Foundation at our meeting.
 

Learn all about all the fun and activities happening at the Cedar Rock Sports Complex!  Under new leadership, this well established facility is being brought back to life! 

Carmen Kucinich is a Masters Level Licensed Professional Counselor with the State of Michigan. Ms. Kucinich has been a Victim Specialist with the Federal Bureau of Investigation since 2005 and has worked with crime victims for over 20 years. Prior to the FBI, her work began as a caseworker with the Michigan Indian Child Welfare Agency followed by Safe Harbor Children’s Advocacy Center where she worked as a forensic interviewer and therapist for sexually abused children and children that witnessed domestic violence. Ms. Kucinich is active in working on the FBI’s West Michigan Based Child Exploitation (WEBCHEX) Task Force, formed in 2014 and is a current member the FBI’s Victim Services Response Team (VSRT); responding to Mass Casualties as requested, throughout the United States.

It's CELEBRATION time as we recognize the hard work of the RHS Seniors that are part of the Rotary sponsored STRIVE and Interact groups. We will also be announcing the recipients of the 2023 Rockford Rotary Club Scholarship winners.

The Rotary Club of Rockford Michigan was chartered by Rotary International on May 21, 1948.  Today we will celebrate that time together as a club and special proclamation by the City of Rockford Mayor Terry Konkle.

We will gather together with Rotarians past and present to celebrate 75 years of serving strong in our community and the world!  Paul Harris Fellows will be recognized and we will official induct Wendell Wilson as the next Rockford Rotary Club president.
