Jazz in a Virtual Society

Cullen McCarthy is the director of the award winning Rockford High School Jazz Band. Under his direction, he has brought the world of Jazz to a new level for high school musicians.

The Jazz Band is recognized as one of the premier bands in the state of Michigan.  They have been featured at the annual International Jazz Festival in Detroit and in concert with some of the biggest names in Jazz including Diego Rivera, Mark Whitfield, Steve Wilson and Anat Cohen.
