Rockford Rotary held its annual duck race back in June at the Rockford start of summer celebration.

The club held two duck races: a big daddy duck race and a little duck race.  The big daddy ducks are purchased by businesses in the community to support Rotary and do some good natured trash talking.  The little ducks are purchased by everyone else.  People get caught up in the moment and cheer on the ducks as they float from Bridge Street down river to the park.  Rotarians scoop the ducks out of the water and yell out the winners to the crowd on shore.  It is a really fun time all around.  We would like to thank all the businesses who supported our race this year!  Here is a "reprint" of the ad from the Squire.  See you next year!
